Frequently asked questions

  • Tattoo artists in Columbus, OH range anywhere from $100-500/hr. At our studio, the minimum cost for a tattoo is $300, and prices vary based on factors such as design, size, and the chosen artist. We are committed to working with you to create a tattoo that aligns with your budget, whether through alternative artist options or design modifications. Your satisfaction and a quality tattoo experience are our priorities. However, tattoos are forever, so it’s important to prioritize quality and to be prepared to invest accordingly.

  • Our shop is appointment-only. If we have any walk-in availability that day, we will post on our Instagram.

  • There is a parking lot located behind Stauf’s Coffee that is free up until 5pm.

  • As we receive a significant number of requests, we find it more efficient to handle communication electronically. Prior to scheduling any consultations, please submit an appointment request through our online form or directly with your preferred artist. The artist will assess whether an in-person consultation is necessary for your tattoo. In many cases, email communication proves adequate for fulfilling most requests.

  • 24 hours leading up to your appointment, refrain from drinking alcohol or taking any blood thinners such as Ibuprofen or Aspirin. Get a good nights rest, hydrate, and make sure to enjoy a full meal before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring water, snacks, and maybe a sugary (non-caffeinated) drink. Don’t forget your ID.

    A couple weeks leading up to your appointment, refrain from sun exposure or tanning beds and moisturize.

  • We ask that you limit visitors to one person. Visitors must be 16+ years old

  • No. For safety and health reasons, we ask that you wait until after you are no longer breastfeeding before you get a tattoo. If you become pregnant after making an appointment, just let us know.

  • First find an artist that really speaks to you. Our studio really values individuality and independence. Some of our artists may choose to manage their own booking, and they may work off a waitlist that opens and closes, while some prefer to go through our studio manager. You can find each artist and their preferred way of booking in our “Our Artists” tab above.

  • Depends on the tattoo you want covered and the style of tattoos that the artist does. If the artist mostly does fineline work, that artist most likely does not do coverups due to the nature of that style.

  • We tattoo 18 years or older.
